The E. Valenta School is a school with extensive foreign languages (English, German and French). Emphasis is then placed on teaching the English language, which is from first to ninth grade as a compulsory subject. The second foreign language is German, which is also a compulsory subject from 6 to 9 class. The French language is taught in the ring, especially for pupils of primary school.

The school has two language labs with the latest audiovisual aids for teaching foreign languages. Language learning is also enriched and supplemented by the usage of computer classrooms and modern language programs, including access to programs for improvement in foreign languages on the Internet. For the self-study students are available not only foreign-language textbooks, as well as language training programs for the computer.

The school is the fourth year of a successful organizer of the district round of the Olympic Games in the English language, which is held under the auspices of the Prostejov Sport Centre. The winners of this competition will participate in regional competition, which produces very nice results comparable to the best schools in the Olomouc region.
